| Abstract | Land Operations Division (LOD) has a major role in the development of the Land Force both in support of the Army in being and the future force. One such task is LAND 125 - the Soldier Combat System (SCS) which has the aim of delivering a fully integrated and technologically enhanced dismounted fighting soldier capability. The SCS has presented a number of challenges, including: means of analysis of the system, development and validation of a wargaming simulation capability, the initiation of a field experiment regime, and selection and incorporation of potential technologies. The presentation will give a brief overview of the work of LOD and describe our work on the SCS in more detail. |
