| Abstract | Patterns has been associated in recent times with software design, based on the use of patterns in building architectures. Patterns can be seen as entities embedded in the foundational model of computation. This realisation gives patterns a role as a driver in the software lifecycle which leads to an architecture called the Intention Architecture. This architecture provides a common platform for the software user, designer, and developer. The Intention Architecture leads to better software design and also presents a new way to manage content in different domains. |
